Circular Economy and Sustainable Development Best Practices

Brief description: The main objective of this BIP will be to provide faculty and academic staff with the latest trends in the field of the circular economy, a model of production and consumption that involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products for as long as possible, as an element of sustainable development. In addition, it will allow participants to share their knowledge and best practices in the implementation of the principles of the circular economy and sustainable development, both in teaching, research and daily life.

Brief description: The aim of this BIP is to carry out research work on an ambitious challenge combined with learning the local culture of the commune of Zakliczyn, located in Tarnów County. Students will participate in an engaging programme that will give them the opportunity to network internationally, as well as learn on the ground and work as a team, involved in an interesting challenge supervised by leading scientists.

Circular Bioeconomy – Courses on circular economy and sustainability

Brief description: The compulsory parts are Introduction to the BIP, Bioeconomy, Road to circularity, Sustainable business models and value proposition. The students must attend four compulsory lectures on circular bioeconomy topics (2h/each) and at least three more elective lectures (2x2h/each) ministered by specialists of the involved institutions.
