2. Development of an industry for the generation and use of biogas from waste Farmers in the Canary Islands (Agustín de Betancourt 2017-2021).
Offer description:
Biogas production from animal manure produced in farms in the Canary Islands may represent an additional energy source for producing heat and/or electricity. Data of different animal farms distributed all around the islands were used for evaluating the potential biogas generation and contribution to the production of renewable energy in the Canary Islands.This research group is in the process of creating a spin-off from the University of LaLaguna, which will offer services linked to the consolidation of its applied researchdeveloped in the field of the Circular Economy. This company is only pendingof its approval in the Government Council.
