The Institute of Interdisciplinary Research offers cooperation in applied and contract research. Expertise and experience from our academic staff, external collaborators, and doctoral students are available in the fields of management, marketing, finance, accounting, management informatics, tourism, and social services.
The Institute offers municipalities and cities strategic development plans based on the methodology of the Ministry of Regional Development, educational courses for local government representatives, creation of marketing strategies for municipalities, support for local development action plans, and sociological studies and analyses.
Among the outputs, the Institute has developed strategic plans for municipalities such as Střítež, Petrovice u Karviné, Městský obvod Slezská Ostrava, Bravantice, and Komorní Lhotka. Additional projects include a competitive analysis and strategic benchmarking for Witkowitz Envi, creation of an innovation factsheet for the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Center, and more.
