The Curriculum Lab is dedicated to taking stock of current teaching practices at partner universities and enriching them with new teaching practices at partner universities and enriching them with new teaching methods, in accordance with international teaching standards. Members from all universities come together from different positions in academic education, whether they are deans of study, university professors, administrative or university didactic staff, to form new teaching communities and help lifelong students on their journey, connecting them in blended learning environments.  In its approach to international teaching, the Curriculum Lab invests in the creation of international degrees and study programmes from Bachelor's to PhD level, enabling students from all partner universities to invest in short-term or long-term mobility programmes that offer them diverse joint European curriculum options. Particular attention is paid to micro-credentials, which offer learning experiences, also in the short term, for students who want a more flexible approach in building a curriculum, as well as to Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), mixed short-term mobility programmes that allow close cooperation between three or more universities.

In line with the changing lives of university students, these flexible and international curricula adequately prepare them for their career outside their study program, and foster their intercultural skills, which are highly relevant in the global context of education. An internal quality management system designed by the Curriculum Lab ensures the successful implementation of these joint international programmes and qualifications, and provides other work teams with the relevant tools to coordinate and monitor their own courses of action. With this investment in advanced teaching and student education, the Curriculum Lab helps train tomorrow's new workforces for our regional and trans-regional actors, not only by improving current teaching standards, but by connecting real-life problems with scientific and academic work. This work continues in Thematic Interest Groups (TIGs),  that connect researchers and teachers in their shared thematic studies, providing students and learners, throughout their lives, with thriving communities from which to benefit.
