Who we are:

The Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition (STARS EU) is an alliance of nine European universities to establish a new European University seeking to promote the creation of a new generation of future-oriented students, innovative and flexible challenge-based educational and research systems as well as inter-regional collaboration and sustainable regional and European development. Further Information: www.starseu.org

What we are searching for:

Send us your ideas for innovative course units (virtual and face-to-face) and BIPs (Blended Intensive Programmes) to offer in our European STARS EU course curriculum. These courses can be part of bachelor or master programmes on different levels, preferably already available in English or ready to be translated. BIPs can be addressed to students as well as teachers and employees. Both new and established courses/BIPs are welcome, however, they must be offered at one of the partner institutions in theSTARS EU alliance. The goal is to develop a shared curriculum for all partners. For this purpose, courses and BIPs will be selected from the universities' submissions and reports by October in order to start with an initial test selection of courses in 2025.Of particular interest are courses that apply to one or more of the following competences:
  • transdisciplinarity / interdisciplinary collaboration
  • regional and interregional community development/stakeholder/ community engagement and co-creation
  • global awareness and regional understanding
  • strategic planning and visioning
  • systems-thinking, e.g. understanding of interconnected systems
