Student participation in STARS EU is a major aspect of the alliance's operation. Students are, without a doubt, the majority audience to be considered, which is why their opinions and suggestions about the different strategies and actions carried out by the alliance are essential to establish solid, effective and lasting links that promote collaboration between schools and students. Student participation in STARS EU has gone beyond challenge-based learning activities and regional development and has materialized with their presence in face-to-face and online meetings. These periodic meetings allow them to give their opinion on the strategy and actions carried out by the alliance, and to establish links with each of the member universities.  In order to promote greater student participation, a new cooperation structure called Future Lab is planned. The student council is made up of three representatives from each of the nine STARS EU partner universities.Â
