During the celebration of its International Students’ Day on 17 November, the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança organised a simple but moving ceremony in which members of the academic community planted several tulips provided by the Hanze University of Applied Sciences, forming the STARS EU alliance logo.
The tulip logo was planted in a garden in front of the Santa Apolónia Campus services in Bragança. The Institute chose to hold this event during International Students’ Day, which celebrates students and their struggle for democracy, freedom and education.
Present were the President, Orlando Isidoro Afonso Rodrigues, the Vice-Presidents and Pro-Presidents, IPB staff, students and some student representatives such as the Academic Association and others.
